"Accredited with Distinction"
The Colorado Department of Education recognized the Frenchman School District as a District of Distinction under the state's accountability system. The evalutions are based on four performance indicators; academic achievement; academic growth; closing the gaps in growth levels for a variety of historically disadvantaged subgroups; and sucess in preparing students for postsecondary and workforce readiness (based on dropout rates, graduation rates, and scores on ACT college entrance exam).
The Fleming High School Knowledge Bowl Team recently was named second overall team in the North Central League. Teams competing in Knowledge Bowl compete for recognition in academic excellence among many of the finest students in Colorado’s secondary schools. The team consisted of seniors Zane Boerner and Maddy Vogel, and juniors Emily Lovell and Neil Lovell. State Knowledge Bowl will be held April 16-April 17 in Colorado -Springs. There will be three alternate team members that will act as possible substitutes consisting of Faith Eichorn, Benjamin Lambrecht, and Eric Lovell. The team was sponsored by Denise King and Jennifer Lambrecht.
