January 2010 Dear FRENCHMAN RE-3 (Fleming) School District Community, FRENCHMAN RE-3 is proud to announce that we just received the highest Accreditation rating possible from the State: "ACCREDITED WITH DISTINCTION". This rating is based on 5 factors: 1) Student Growth Over Time and Achievement (CSAP scores and growth), 2) Achievement Gaps (if any), 3) Postsecondary Readiness, 4) Finance & School Safety, and 5) Education Improvement Plan. Congratulations to the Students, Teachers, and Parents for this rating. Only 3 districts in the NE Colorado area received this rating. In addition to the above information, FRENCHMAN RE-3 School District is pleased to announce the availability of our 2008-2009 Annual Report to the Public. Every year, school districts in Colorado report about their performance to their communities, based on requirements in the No Child Left Behind Act. In addition, state law has required that districts report district accreditation information. Both the information required by federal law and district accreditation information is now available on the Colorado Department of Education's Web site at
