There are three primary goals of the high school science department.
1. Students will gain a better understanding of the physical and natural world around them and how their actions can impact this world.
2. Students will hone critical thinking and problem solving skills, and then utilize these skills in making decisions.
3. Regardless if they are college bound, choose to enter the work field, attend a vocational/technical school, students will be able to apply their scientific knowledge as they transition into life after high school. |
