Mrs. Lisa Chintala

Hello! I am Lisa Chintala.  I am married to Dana Chintala and we have 4 children: Trevor, Megan, Bailey and Whitney.  I attended Calhan School in Calhan, CO graduating in 1987.  I attended college at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO.  I earned my bachelor of science degree in education with an emphasis in Chemistry in 1992.  I also earned a minor in Biology.  I spent two years substitute teaching and coaching at Fleming School.  In 1994, I accepted a teaching position with Holyoke High School.  I taught freshman science, chemistry and physics. I also was the high school girls assistant basketball coach for 2 years.  In 1998, I accepted a middle school math position at Sterling Middle School and was there for one year.  Being a small town girl, I soon realized that the small school atmosphere was best suited for me.  I accepted a teaching position with Caliche School in 1999.  I taught all of the junior high and high school science classes while I was there.  I also served as the junior high track coach and assisted with junior high basketball while there. I started my third year at Caliche with 2 toddlers and a 3 month old baby.  In September, I lost my daycare provider and decided that it was time to take a break and stay home and raise my children.  I had a licensed daycare in my home from 2000-2004 during which time our fourth child was born.  In 2004, I accepted the junior high math/science position at Fleming School and have been here ever since.  My husband and I along with our family have been a part of the Fleming community since 1993.  I am starting my 13th year at Fleming School and my 19th year in education.  I have been the athletic director for 12 years.  During my time at Fleming, I have been the high school track coach, junior high girls volleyball, basketball and track coach and have also been a high school girls assistant basketball coach.
