Through a safe, caring, and supportive environment, the Fleming School creates a challenging learning experience that encourages academic, physical, and social success.
The Colorado Department of Education recognized the Frenchman School District is Accredited under the state's accountability system. The evaluations are based on four performance indicators; academic achievement; academic growth; closing the gaps in growth levels for a variety of historically disadvantaged subgroups; and success in preparing students for post-secondary and workforce readiness (based on dropout rates, graduation rates, and scores on ACT college entrance exam).
Fleming School serves a small town in Northeast Colorado with a population of about 400 people. Some students from the neighboring communities of Haxtun and Sterling also attend the K-12 school where there are 195 students and 18 preschoolers.
