Make a Difference in Our School!
Are you passionate about education and want to make a positive impact in our community? Consider running for the school board. This is your opportunity to help shape the future of the Fleming school, support students and teachers, and ensure every child receives a high-quality education.
Petitions to run are available starting August 6th in the district office from 8:00am-4:00pm Tuesday through Friday. The deadline to submit petitions is 4:00pm on August 29th.

JUNIOR HIGH ATHLETES:
If you plan on participating in a fall sport (football, volleyball, or cross country) completed paperwork (including physical) must be turned in AND $40 sports fee paid prior to first practice or you will NOT be allowed to participate in practice until this is submitted. The first day of practice will be Wednesday, August 13 during 8th period.
Mr. Feather will be at the school this week to collect paperwork and fee.

You may also turn this in next week prior to the first practice.
Reminder for high school volleyball and cross country:

School is almost starting and I want to ask you a favor… Sit with your child for 5 minutes and explain that there’s never a reason to make fun of someone for their height, their weight, their skin tone, their home life or the things they enjoy.
Explain there’s nothing wrong with wearing the same shoes every day.
Explain to them that a used backpack carries the same dreams as a new one.
Teach them not to exclude anyone for "being different"
Explain to them that teasing hurts and that school is for going to LEARN, NOT to compete or spread negativity.
Remind them some kids don’t go home to loving families so it’s important to be kind. It all starts at home!

We fill the bleachers on chilly Friday nights for football. We fill the bleachers for basketball. We travel miles and miles to sit in the bleachers for volleyball, baseball, softball, gymnastics, and dance.
Our 4-H 🍀 and FFA families are inviting you to fill the bleachers on a warm summer day during the Logan County fair week to watch the kids who practice with a 1200 pound steer that doesn’t always want to walk, or show a 1000 pound horse that might be spooked easily around all the new noises, a 140 pound lamb that doesn’t want to get on the stand for the 100th time, a 280 pound hog that just wants to stay in the cool barn, or a stubborn goat that doesn’t like the chain. Go out and visit the Mitchek Building to see all of the Family Consumer Science projects. All of these kids have heart and dedication, and they have put hours upon hours of hard work into their projects and creations for several months. They have worked really hard to earn their ribbons and placings. Please come to the arenas and show your support!
Let’s fill the bleachers , barns, and buildings to show these kids that their hard work doesn’t go unnoticed!! Because of them, the future of agriculture and leadership is in good hands! 🍀
