Mrs. Gentry Etl's class threw her a surprise baby shower today! They showered her with heartfelt gifts, one was handmade by the students, and cookies made by Kamie Lambrecht! Thank you to Kamie, the 4th grade class and 4th grade parents! We can't wait to meet your little one, Gentry!

High School Basketball at South Platte tonight - Admission Prices Adults: $4.00 Students: $3.00 **They will accept our CHSAA passes.

There will be no JV girls' basketball game tonight at South Platte. The games will still start at 4:00 pm with JV boys, followed by the varsity games.

Adventure Vision is back! They will provide eye exams and glasses to the Haxtun community on Wednesday, February 25th. Adventure Vision accepts Medicaid, CHP+, EyeMed, and Spectera. They are also offering a special for those who do not fall under standard coverage: an eye exam and glasses for $109. Students with CHP+ will receive an eye exam and one pair of glasses. Medicaid recipients will receive an eye exam and two pairs of glasses. Private insurance holders will receive an eye exam (which includes their prescription for glasses) and a quote for the cost of a pair of glasses. Adventure Vision has a 10-voucher limit for uninsured students using Von’s Vision Vouchers.

Adventure Vision requested a paperwork deadline of Thursday, January 29. An appointment is required. Please contact the school office or email nsmith@neboces.org. Scheduling will occur after paperwork is completed. Please submit the forms to nsmith@neboces.org or deliver them to the school by Thursday, January 29.

Reminder: Tomorrow is a half day of school. Students will be released at noon. Lunch will still be provided. Bus routes will still run at noon. Please make sure you have arrangements for your child to be picked up or ride the bus at release time. Happy Holidays!
