Our AG students put their woodworking skills to the test by creating their own wooden pumpkins! Students practiced hands-on woodworking techniques while bringing their fall creations to life. We love seeing our students get creative, build new skills, and learn by doing!

The Frenchman School District Board of Education has reviewed the valuable input received from students, staff, parents, and community members through the online survey and stakeholder focus groups. Using this feedback, the Board has established and approved the qualifications, leadership characteristics, and personal traits it is seeking in the district's next superintendent.
These qualifications will help guide the recruitment and selection process and will be included in the superintendent vacancy announcement.

Fleming School has received results for lead testing in drinking water fixtures:
In June 2022, Governor Polis signed into law Colorado House Bill 22-1358: Clean Water in Schools and Child Care Centers. This bill requires all licensed child care programs and public schools to test their drinking water for lead and take action when results show levels of lead at or above 5 parts per billion (ppb). The goal of this law is to lower children’s exposure to lead. To meet these requirements, Fleming School has tested for lead at all water fixtures used for drinking and cooking. The most recent tests were from the concession stand at the football field.
Results Summary:
• 3 Fixtures were tested
• 3 Fixtures had lead results that tested below 5 ppb - no further action is required
• 0 Fixtures had lead results that tested at or above 5 ppb
You can view the detailed sample results and remediation status at this link. Results may take up to 3 days to be posted on this webpage. Protecting the health and wellbeing of Colorado’s children is our top priority, and we will keep you updated during the process at Fleming School. Schools/child care facilities that have lead results in drinking water above 5 parts per billion (ppb) must take action to reduce exposure to lead. When lead is found at or above 5 ppb, the fixture is shut off while a more long-term solution is underway. These solutions may include permanently removing the fixture from service, designating a fixture as “not for drinking”, replacing drinking water faucets or fountains, or installing filters. For the fixtures where lead is found below 5 ppb, we will follow routine practices to further lower potential exposure.
Lead is a toxic metal that is especially harmful to young children. The degree of risk depends on the child’s total exposure to lead from all environmental sources – air, soil, dust, food, paint, consumer products, and water. Typically old or corroded lead plumbing or old brass fixtures can contribute to increased lead levels in drinking water. If you are concerned about your child’s exposure you can have their blood tested.

Weekly Athletic Schedule for 10/19-10/24
The Fleming School would like to remind all parents and visitors that designated handicapped parking spaces are reserved for individuals with disabilities who have the appropriate parking permit or license plate.
These spaces are not to be used for student drop-off or pick-up, even for a brief moment. Please use the other parking spots for student drop-off and pick-up to help ensure that accessible parking remains available for those who need it.
We appreciate everyone's cooperation in keeping our parking lot safe and accessible for all students, families, and visitors.

On Tuesday morning, October 13, 2026, the Fleming School was placed on a lockout at the direction of the Logan County Sheriff’s Department, out of an abundance of caution. Based on information from the department, at no point was anyone in the school or community unsafe. The issue was resolved, and the lockout was lifted.
Due to the sensitive nature of the issue, we are unable to share further details. We appreciate your understanding.
