Hello Fleming Community! I am Kendyl Kirkwood, and I am joining the Fleming Staff as a junior high language arts and math teacher. I am super excited to start this journey for as I grew up and graduated from Fleming. I am super grateful for the opportunity to be able to teach in the same building that I grew up and student taught in. I love reading and math, so I am looking forward to sharing those passions with the students through fun activities. I recently graduated from Chadron State College where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. My goal is to create a fun and safe environment for my students, also that we will enjoy coming to school every day to get better. I’m looking forward to a great year in this awesome community!

Hello, everyone! My name is Madi Kay Serrato, and I am so excited to be joining the incredible Fleming staff this year as a teacher’s assistant for the second grade class. I have lived in Fleming for most of my life, and I am overjoyed to be able to give back to this amazing school and community that helped me to get where I am today.
I come from a family of educators, so becoming a teacher has always been a dream of mine. As of right now, I am still working towards my bachelor’s degree in elementary education, so this will be a great way for me to get some clinical time in a classroom. I am thankful for this opportunity to take a positive step into my teaching career and hope to learn a lot from this experience and all of the wonderful people I will work with.

Hello Fleming community I am Tristan Holland, and I’m proud to be joining Fleming High School as your new agriculture teacher and FFA advisor! I grew up just down the road in Otis, and as a first-generation agriculturalist, I found my passion for this industry through hands-on experiences and the life-changing impact of agricultural education. I served as a Colorado FFA State Officer on the 2021–2022 team, and I carry that experience with me every day—believing, as the FFA Creed says, in the future of agriculture.
I recently graduated from CSU with a degree in Agricultural Education, and I’m excited to bring energy, creativity, and a whole lot of heart to the classroom and shop. Whether it’s plants, animals, welding, or turning a wrench, I believe every student can find their place in ag. I’m here to help them do just that. Let’s build something great together starting right now!
