Following the Safe2Tell security threat Tuesday, we want to provide an update regarding school operations.
School will return to its normal schedule tomorrow. We understand that situations such as this can cause concern, and we want to assure our families that student and staff safety remains our highest priority.
The school staff remain vigilant and highly aware of all safety protocols and procedures. We continue to work closely with the Logan County Sheriff's Office and other law enforcement partners to monitor the situation and ensure appropriate safety measures are in place.
There will continue to be a law enforcement presence at the school as an added safety measure.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work together to keep our school safe.

Update from the Athletic Director in regard to games for today, 9/8: students whose parents excuse them for the day WILL be allowed to ride the bus and participate in the football scrimmage or volleyball contests.

Frenchman School District was recently reported as “Accredited with Distinction.” We would like to clarify that this designation does not accurately reflect the district’s accreditation status.
Based on the district’s performance this year, Frenchman School District earned enough points to meet the requirements for accredited with distinction. However, the multi-year (3 years) points are used to determine accreditation rating. The district’s appropriate accreditation designation should be “Accredited.”
The district is working to ensure that its accreditation status is accurately reflected in accordance with the Colorado Department of Education requirements and the district’s multi-year performance data.
We appreciate the hard work of our students, staff, and families that contributed to the district’s continued academic progress.
